Hill Top Playing Fields

Dear Parishioners

As you know the Parish Council is due to be installing a pavilion building at Hill Top Playing Fields between 11th March to 18th March (dates could be subject to change depending upon suppliers and weather). We do not anticipate any works taking place at weekends but there is likely to be some disruption to access.

The works will mostly take place on the north-east side of the playing fields between the car park and the ash tree (see attached plan). For some of the time there will also be a trench (marked red on the plan) that runs alongside the car park’s roadside hedge and then crosses the car park to the pavilion site. This might reduce the usable area of the car park.

The trench will be clearly marked and the main site will be secured with Heras fencing. If balls are kicked into the main site it will not be possible to retrieve them until the next working day.

Please ensure that everyone entering and using the playing fields with you is aware of the construction works and takes all sensible measures to ensure their personal health and safety.
